Lately, a contact of mine has been pestering me about some quick-get-rich-scheme. I do not like the idea of feeding the person with false hopes and beliefs, so I rejected the person quite quickly.
Just like me, we are young and I personally believe that being young is an asset + having education and gaining relevant work experience. Yeah, this type of get rich scheme sounds to good to be true and there are obviously better ways of obtaining monetary rewards.
(Put your feet firmly to the ground, if you get what I mean).
I do not enjoy meeting some people who thinks that all NUS undergrads are well-loaded and often introduce and get us involve in some crackpot thing of sales pitch and further planning overly rosy prospects that would very well-fatten ur wallets. ( Come on, we are mature enough to know that its some kind of scheme).
The thing is this. Our goals are very simple. Study, finish our degree, go out to work. If it aint spelled clearly to you then just leave us alone. Goodbye.
